Brenda Ramstack has been courageously fighting breast cancer since November, 2008. She did not have any health insurance at the time of her diagnosis, but she chose to fight anyway, and fighting has been costly. Half of the proceeds we raised will be used towards Brenda’s medical expenses, including Lumpectomy, Chemotherapy and Radiation. As I understand, Brenda is in total remission at this time. I want to thank her for getting up and speaking to all of us at the outing, we wish her nothing but the best. KEEP BUYING GREEN BANANAS BRENDA!
I want to personally thank everyone who attended this years golf outing, the sponsors, donators, and volunteers. A good time was had by all as the rain thankfully missed us, it was a bit on the cool side but I’m not complaining.
Special thanks go out to Mike Bolan, owner of Eagle Springs Golf Resort, who once again donated the food for lunch and dinner. THANKS BIG MIKE!
We smoked ham shoulders for dinner on a Traeger Wood Pellet Grill which was then raffled off. The ham and the grill were a big hit and I want to thank Tim Bonesteel and the folks at Wales Lawn & Garden for selling us the grill at half-price to help us out with a good cause. THANKS ADAM!
Lastly I want to thank Russ Gale and they rest of the troop at the East Troy American Legion who helped out by facilitating the entire event for us. THANKS RUSS!
This year we raised approximately $6,000.00 dollars splitting it between Brenda Ramstack and Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation for Breast Cancer.
