Fall Color Series 2011: Maple Sugar

In Lakeside Painting's latest Fall Color series installment, we take a look at the color Maple Sugar.

Yes, the snow may have fallen early but maybe we will get a quick melt to enjoy the tail end of autumn colors here in Wisconsin. And one of the things most synonymous with the autumn is maple sugar. Maple sugar is most abundant in March, but it can still be harvested in the fall and winter months.

The color resembles pumpkin pie and the light golden brown of fall leaves.  Maple Sugar would look great in a living room where the family congregrates, especially if homeowners own a fireplace. Homeowners could even get a little cheaky and display vintage maple syrup bottles in the room, amongst other antique decorations.
