Though commercial wall coverings and residential wallpaper offer versatility, faux finishing should not be sidelined. It was popular during the late 1980s and early 90s but there is current resurgence. Faux finishes can be applied to any surface as long as it’s plain and sealed, though the prepping and priming of the surface will vary depending on the type of surface that is being painted.
