How Professional Painters Make Your Industrial Paint Job a Breeze

Monday, May 15, 2017

In addition to brightening and freshening up a space, paint provides a layer of protection against dust, moisture, and other foreign invaders. However, without the proper skills and equipment, painting can be a painstaking task, especially in an industrial setting, where high ceilings and vast spaces are the norm.

The professional painters as Lakeside Painting can make your industrial paint job a breeze. Equipped with a team of highly skilled professionals and over 30 years of experience as an industrial painting contractor, we guarantee all of our work to ensure a positive customer experience.

Why Lakeside is the Best

Unlike many other industrial painting companies who work only Monday through Friday from 9-5, our painting contractors dedicate themselves to meeting the needs of our clients. As such, we work holidays, nights, weekends, and during plant shutdowns at no extra cost.

In addition to our flexible scheduling, we pride ourselves on providing extraordinary customer service and outstanding results. Before and after the completion of each project, one of our highly trained crew members will work with you to inspect the condition of your property. This is done to ensure that we have not damaged anything and that our work meets your specifications. Furthermore, should anything go wrong after the job is complete, we back our work with an excellent labor and materials warranty.

All of our industrial interior paintwork is guaranteed for up to five years, while our work on exterior block, brick, and concrete surfaces is backed for up to ten years. Unlike many warranties that just cover materials, our labor and materials warranty means that should something go wrong, we will not only repair any failed paint, but we will also restore the damaged areas at no additional cost.

Services We Offer

In addition to our emphasis on customer satisfaction, we offer a number of industrial painting services throughout Wisconsin and select Midwest cities.

Dry Ice Blasting

Dry ice blasting is an abrasive and highly effective method of paint removal. During this process, specialized equipment blasts frozen CO2 particles at a targeted surface, causing materials to freeze, crack, and instantly peel away.

This abrasive blasting method is preferred by clients because it is food safe and environmentally friendly. Additionally, machines do not need to be disassembled or relocated when utilizing this technique.

Electrostatic Painting

Electrostatic spray painting is a method of painting metal objects. First, a negative electrode is attached to the metal surface that is to be painted; this creates a negative charge. By spraying electrically charged paint with the opposite charge at the metal surface, the resulting magnetic attraction pulls paint particles toward the surface of the object.

Since overspray—which can lead to messes—is reduced by the magnetic attraction, this is a preferred method of painting in many industrial settings. Besides limiting the amount of necessary protective materials, electrostatic painting spreads more evenly than other types of paint, thanks to the like-charged paint particles.

Dry Fall Painting

Containing additives which allow paint droplets to dry rapidly, dry fall paint (also known as drop dry paint) is perfect for industrial settings. The paint dries as it falls, and excess paint is swept or dusted away.

Dry fall painting is great because it exponentially reduces the amount of prep work and cleanup required before and after a painting project. While Lakeside typically applies dry fall paint to exposed structural steel interiors, it can be used elsewhere.
