Lakeside Painting Golf Outing Benefits Pink Ribbon Riders Foundation

Each year Lakeside Painting, a painting and flooring company located in East Troy, Wisconsin, hosts a golf outing that benefits Breast Cancer patients. Held at Eagle Springs Golf Resort, one of the oldest courses in the United States, the Lakeside Painting Golf Outing is a Four Man Scramble format, followed by a dinner and raffle. (Watch a short documentary below that recaps the 2021 Lakeside Painting Golf Outing.)

A number of fellow companies and organizations participates by golfing in the outing, donating a raffle or auction prize, sponsoring a hole, or by donating monetarily. Many others simply join us for the fun and the food.

For the 2021 golf outing, all participants helped raise over $11,000 and counting! All proceeds benefit the Pink Ribbon Riders Foundation, which distributes funds across Wisconsin through the Pink Ribbon Riders Assistance Program, which provides financial support to men and women who are diagnosed with and in treatment for Breast Cancer.

The fight against Breast Cancer is a very personal one for us. In 2015, the Lakeside Painting family lost a loved one, Kerry (Tia) Smith, a loving daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend. In her name, all golf outing proceeds benefit the Pink Ribbon Riders Foundation.

The word “cancer” is something no loved one should ever have to hear. Unfortunately, over 200 different types of cancers making the disease the leading cause of death in the United States and beyond. While a staggering reality, we're dedicated to offering heartfelt support to foster a united front in this good fight!

If you missed this year's golf outing but would still like to donate to the Pink Ribbon Riders, we certainly encourage you to do so. They are a great partner in this fight to beat breast cancer!
